Appeal postponed for Roncero

But it should be considered on appeal on Wednesday following the punch of Thierry Toulousain at Dusautoir, Rodrigo Roncero will have to wait three weeks before its sanction.

First Instance sentenced to one month's suspension for hitting Thierry Dusautoir, Pillar Stade Français Rodrigo Roncero had decided to appeal. Since he was suspending the player was able to participate in the test-matches fall of Argentina. Its location should be studied on Wednesday, but the review of his case was postponed for about three weeks at the request of his lawyer, who has other business to deal with. The Gaucho will therefore be taken by the Top 14 match this weekend against Biarritz, as well as two meetings of the Heineken Cup against Harlequins in December.

Roanne: Gray joined linfirmerie

The joy of victory, gained Tuesday evening after extension to Riga under the Eurocoupe has somewhat been affected by injury Taj Gray in the ranks of Roanne. The pivot Americas, verve since the beginning of the season, received a shock in the shoulder at the 5th minute and suffers from a lesion of the fairing of the right shoulder tells us the official website of the choir. An injury that will be worth it to stay open during the next three weeks.

Top 14 Rugby: Biarritz Delmas aside and recruits Gonzalez

Biarritz Wednesday dismissed coach Jacques Delmas, guilty designated for a failed early-season (8th of the Top 14), far ambitions of the club, which still hopes to reverse its recent decline in entrusting his fate to his former captain Jean-Michel Gonzalez . In the spotlight for several weeks, Delmas, coach on the front BO since 2004 and under contract until June 2010, will ultimately not passed in November. His deputy Jack Isaac, in charge of rear end since 2007, remains along with "Gonzo". After the departure last June of a Patrice Lagisquet tired and worn out by ten years bench is the second wheel tandem champion France in 2005 and 2006, finalist in the European Cup in 2006, which folds in less baggage six months. Because "exemption (Delmas) in attending the training course and the club this week in Hendaye, terms politically and legally correct release of BO Wednesday, is not connected to anything other than setting on the sidelines, germinating for some time around Aguilera. Weakened after defeats in Dax (18-30) and Clermont (6-32) in late September, Delmas, unevenly supported by his locker, was found shortly after colors with a cardboard face Montpellier (46-3), but the defeat Aguilera to the neighbor against Bayonne (12-14) and non-revolt in Toulon (5-10) Saturday, have sealed its future. As premonition several media Monday, it was only a matter of days. Wednesday morning, Delmas has seen thus mean that decision at a meeting with club boss Serge Blanco, president Marcel Martin and the recently appointed sporting director Lawrence Rodriguez, before leaving the team for a three day behind closed doors in Hendaye. Without him. There is no doubt that the BO (5 v., 6 d.), 8th of the Top 14 to 11 pts 4th, Perpignan before hosting Stade Francais (3rd) Saturday at Aguilera for the shock of the 12th day, would well bumpiness past again. It plombe an atmosphere more gloomy past two years between bad choices and game-mast, coups de gueule and cloakrooms closed Failed final stages in Top 14 as UEFA Cup. In short, an end of cycle. There is no doubt that in appointing two weeks ago as sports director Lawrence Rodriguez, former coach of the 2002 BO champion, and entrusting the management of fronts to Jean-Michel Gonzalez, a former international hooker (35 selections from 1992 to 1996), Captain club champion in 2002 and 2005, leaders have tried biarrots betting on local fiber, friendship. This will be enough to bounce back and highlight the theme of the rank? Since his departure from the BO in 2003 for professional reasons, Rodriguez, a relative of the boss Blanco, was not very happy returns for its Top 14, either in 2004-05 Pau or Brive in 2005-06 . Gonzalez, 41 years, despite its experienced player and captain iconic darling of Aguilera and locker room leader, has experience of coaching for one season at the helm of the SA Bayonne, which changes Fédérale 3 . As for Isaac, former Australian center BO, also champion in 2002 and under Gonzalez Rodriguez, he retained his position - after having been approached thus also - thanks in part to its indispensable English in a group of 14 nationalities. Good luck.

The PSG at Swiss?

Sportingly, the PSG is better. After two seasons particularly black, the club from the capital found finally a respectable standing. What attract the interest of investors. For several months, the majority shareholder, Colony Capital, is seeking a new partner to replace Morgan Stanley, who wishes to disengage, and instructed the bank Lazard folder. Colony Capital does not sell It would just received a first concrete proposal from an investment holding company of Switzerland, Credit Alps. The Helvetic Society, which specializes in wealth management, is ready to invest 65 million euros provided to become the sole owner of Paris-SG. Jose Veiga, a former agent of Luis Figo and former CEO of Benfica Lisbon, was appointed by the CEO, Fabrizio Cerina, the role of intermediary for the occasion. This offer has no chance of success. At least in its present form. Colony Capital has no intention to actually sell its shares, as specified director Sebastien Bazin in the columns of Parisien: "We are not selling our participation." A phased withdrawal? On the other hand, the sum raised is much less than the total value of the club, determined by its current owner to 125 million euros (to recall, Canal + had sold 26M € in 2006). Currently, only 33.3% of the shares of Morgan Stanley, the second shareholder of the club, are for sale. A relatively complex assembly would in reality the new entrant, under a capital increase to acquire 40% of the club for an amount of 50 million. The file does not lay by the wayside. One solution would be to convince investors to take only 40% in the first instance, while promising him a majority within two or three years. Only flat, Butler Capital, the third shareholder with 4.2% stake, has priority in case of sale of the club. This means that the case is not concluded yet.

Gerets: "Fighting for UEFA"

"It is often said that my players do not play as a whole but this time they did and they were f ... to play a beautiful football, really nice to see. Overall, except for the match at PSV, which was a scandal at all other Champions League matches, it deserved when at least one point. The players deserved a little more than the three points today. It is poorly served. We will fight for UEFA to continue living on the European level. It would be a great reward for my players, "said Eric Gerets, the coach Olympian on the site of the OM. Marseille is currently 3rd in its group, with the same number of points but the advantage on PSV.

Boston has the resource

The match of the night:
We knew the Big Three, it will perhaps have to change the name to Big Four! Confined to shine Garnett, Pierce and Allen last year, Rajon Rondo recalls last few matches that can also affect the fate of a meeting. Wednesday, the leader of the Celtics who, in large part, enabled his team to win face Golden State (119-111) a 14th victory in 16 matches, the 6th consecutive year. With 22 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists, the former leader from Kentucky made the most beautiful line Celtics stats later. It was important to fill that hole conceded by the champion title in a second quarter-time way for visitors (19-39). The match had started well for Garnett (21 points, 13 rebounds) and his band led by 7 units at the end of the first-quarter time (35-28). But Corey Maggette (32 points including 11 in the 2nd quarter-time) took fire before the break and Boston took a big draft (54-67).

Worn by Ray Allen so far (25 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists), the Celtics responded with champions in the 3rd quarter-time. The Warriors cashing a 22-10 under the battering of Garnett in the racket, and missiles with Allen and Pierce (21 points, 6 rebounds, assists). Rondo, he gave the spin back to California, put baskets as beads (16 points) and Boston took command before the last quarter-time (86-83). Houspillés by the charismatic Don Nelson, the Warriors did nothing cowardly in the money time. The leadership changed hands seven times but on a "and one" appropriate to 6 minutes from the buzzer, Garnett made a break (106-102) finally decisive. Rondo distributing the remaining caviar to perfect its line stats. With 83 items on the last 5 games, Rondo is now monitoring closely. Supporters of the NBA no longer know where to give the Celtics meet the head!

The night of Frenchies:
Despite a great strength, Ronny Turiaf Warriors were therefore inclined to Boston (see the match of the night). Active defense (5 against), the former Laker has been rather quiet in attack (2 points to 1 / 3 shooting, 2 rebounds in 22 minutes). A Portland, Nicolas Batum has done his best game of the season when the Blazers win easily on the Heat (106-68). Holder, the former Manceau a score 15 points (3 / 4 to three points) including 10 in the first quarter meanwhile, picked up 6 rebounds and 2 passes issued in 22 minutes. Opposite, Yakhouba Diawara was less to celebrate (5 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist in 20 minutes). At Philadelphia, Mike Pietrus (9 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists) and Orlando have become the face of Sixers (96-94) as Boris Diaw (2 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists in 22 minutes) in Minneapolis and Phoenix ( 110-102). New defeat in contrast (the 13th in a row!) For the Thunder Johan Petro (7 points, 5 errors in 12 minutes) at Cleveland (82-117). In the 5 major Charlotte, Alexis Ajinça a successful exit Plua accomplished in the NBA (9 minutes to 6 points and 1 rebound) but could not prevent the defeat of the Bobcats against Toronto (93-86). Same for Joakim Noah (2 points, 5 rebounds in 12 minutes), dominated in San Antonio at Chicago (88-98). Still recovering, Tony Parker did not play.

The Perf ':
The top scorer of the evening is named Chris Bosh. Inside Raptors, who already attracts many coveted because it will be like LeBron James or Dwyane Wade, free agent in 2010, a martyred Ajinça and internal Bobcats with 39 points (15/20 shooting), 11 rebounds and 2 against in 45 minutes. John Salmons was almost as well with Sacramento. But his 38 points (4 / 5 three-point) were not sufficient to prevent New Jersey from becoming the Kings for the first time in 11 years (116-114 AD). Nice double double for Al Jefferson (28 points, 17 rebounds) of the Timberwolves, victims (102-110) of the homogeneity of the Suns (all holders to 12 or more points, including 20 for Nash). Finally, the title of clutch player of the night is awarded to Rashard Lewis. The rear of a Magic justified his salary myrobalan (15 million the year) by planting a three-point to 4 seconds of the buzzer to give Orlando the victory against Philadelphia (96-94).

Foot - C1 - Planus: "Making a feat in Rome"

Authors of a convincing performance Wednesday evening at Chaban-Delmas against Chelsea (1-1), Bordeaux players had the feeling of accomplishment after the meeting. Marc Planus, who agreed with embarrassment that Bordeaux has conceded a goal on a rare adverse, preferred to emphasize the game and state of mind made by the Girondins. Everything will depend now in two weeks in Rome and the central defender (photo L'Equipe) is aware that his team will make a small feat if it wants to qualify for the quarter-finals.

"Marc Planus, what are your feelings after this result against Chelsea zero?
After a tie, there is never content. But we must not forget that we faced one of the best teams in Europe or the world. We must relativize and say that a point is a good thing, especially when you're done yet just minutes from the end. What is positive is that we found the resources to get the equalizer. During the match, they left little space and they had few opportunities. We, we had some particularly in the first period. This is satisfactory but there is nothing done. This will be especially important if we manage to do something in Rome.

Is he not of frustration anyway?
Yes of course but we have still been conducted. The slightest mistake, even to fifty meters of our goals is paid cash. At the moment, it's hard. It is really not helped. But the fact back in the game, it's a good thing. There are one or two months, I do not think we'd revenues in this match like that. Tonight, it was able to be welded and did not particularly daunted. We played our football. This was, I think, a very nice match to watch.

Bordeaux will now have to go defend his chances in Rome. It inspires you what?
It is already well for Bordeaux to know that it is mathematically possible to qualify in Rome. If we were told initially that we play qualification in the last match, I think everyone would have signed. In Italy, he will have to make an achievement, there is no choice. Anyway, we knew he had to be an achievement to qualify. When we saw the draw, was clear.

Do you feel capable of going to win in Italy?
On a match is possible. But many, we can not compete with teams like Chelsea or Rome. We are aware of. We can be ambitious at a time, we must be realistic. Tonight, we knew that everything could happen. There was a determination which was increased tenfold. It was able to make their pitch by compensating for our lack of technical aggression and envy. It was match well and I hope that we will come to Rome to tip the balance in our favor. "nop

Paris must sacrifice the UEFA Cup?

LIFE footballer wife sometimes curious paradoxes. It s'escrime, during a season, to push through a European seat and, when arguing continental competition, one is tempted to let the pretext given the championship. For what purpose? Pick simply a European ...

Aspire to be this vicious circle will never far away.
Parisian side, nobody said that "sacrificing" the UEFA Cup and not play out tonight to face Spain's Santander. But for PSG, fifth from L 1, the appointment of the week is set Sunday with the move to Rennes, the current 4th to the goal difference.

"The championship is our competitive basis, I have to say and I have not changed their view, confirms Paul Le Guen. In my mind, the Rennes match is even more important than Santander. But it spares no competition. It would be a bad trial for us, "he insists. Last year it was built some things in the League Cup and French Cup and reached the finals twice. "

"It offers playing time for everyone"

Last of his group, with a game less than its opponents, the PSG must prevail to preserve its chances of qualification. Le Guen has nevertheless decided to leave Giuly, Makelele, Camara and Hoarau on the bench. Further evidence that Paris did not have great ambitions in this demanding competition for bodies and not profit. "We must be lucid: today, it was more likely to win the League Cup as the UEFA Cup," added Le Guen. We are in the quarter-finals of the first and when the time comes, it will be difficult to an impasse. "

Thence to infer that his club is "deadlocked" on the UEFA Cup, there is not one that his players will not cross. "There has qualified for the UEFA Cup and for us, the players, there is no question of letting aside, explains Fabrice Pancrate. It offers playing time for everyone. Moi matches cut allowed me to score points. I want to eat grass. And even if, to go after is a long history of fighting, it's still a prestigious competition. All players will want to play at Manchester City next week. "Just like Pancrate, the liners will be keen to show they deserve more time Thursday

So even if the PSG has virtually no chance of winning the UEFA Cup is not devoid of interest. For the image of the club, also out of respect for its history and 25 000 spectators (including 3 000 Spaniards) who go to the Park tonight, Paris can not afford to play extras.

Security will be strengthened this evening near the Parc des Princes. A surveillance subway will be exercised while a specific filter and palpation will be set up at the entrance of the stadium. Eighty-four people are denied access to the stadium.

LoC-Real Madrid: Raul joined Inzaghi

Scorer for Real Madrid Tuesday evening, face BATE Borisov (1-0), under the fifth day of Champions League, Raul has increased its total output C1 to 62 goals, and is currently the top scorer in its history. It has two units ahead of his teammate, Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy (60). The Spaniard joined Filippo Inzaghi also leads the best goalscorers of all European competitions combined, with 64 achievements.

Liverpool has its two stars Football - Champions League

For the receipt of Marseille at the 5th day of Champions League, Liverpool will rely on its two stars, Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres. A very bad news for Marseille enlightens as the duo play the Reds this season even if they have been aligned together 11 times.

Marseille drew the jackpot. Since October 5 last 10 matches all competitions combined, Rafael Benitez had never been able to align its entrance two stars. Each time, its Spanish striker, Fernando Torres, its iconic player, Steven Gerrard, could not accompany his companion near the green of England because of various injuries. During this long period of time, however, concluded by five wins, two defeats and two draws, the Reds have been less flamboyant than the beginning of the season. Lack of opportunity for OM: the two leaders of the Mersey club will be well go for the shock of the 5th day of C1.

Absent for many weeks because of an adductor injury, Torres came back last week and was established this weekend against Fulham (0-0). A match where the absence of Steven Gerrard has been sorely felt: "We have not played well, we did not have enough energy and our passing game was not good," Benitez had analyzed in After this void. This corresponds perfectly to the qualities of English, real conductor capable of rameuter its troops even in bad times. And this is not the AC Milan who say the opposite after the final of the Champions League in 2005.

Both will be part of the deal with Marseille. And - except for the show - is anything but good news for the Olympians. For Gerrard-Torres is clearly the winning ticket in Liverpool. "As coach, I do not like players out of the lot, but Gerrard and Torres have written something like 54 goals between them since they play together. It is clear that these are two important players for us," concedes Benitez. But how could it be otherwise?

The figures speak for themselves effect: all competitions combined, Gerrard, who signed a double victory against OM to go (1-2), is the top scorer of the Reds season with 7 goals (in tied with Dirk Kuyt) in 17 appearances, before Torres, 5 goals in 15 matches. Better still, Benitez was able to play all eleven times since the beginning of the year 2008-2009 for a review of 9 wins and two invalid. That speaks volumes about their impact. "Last season, the agreement between Torres and Gerrard was really good and he began to have signs that it is improving this year," said Benitez. Marseille is not polished.

Basketball - Pro A - Roanne - Gray out 3 weeks

After Etienne Brower (hip) and Marcellus Sommerville (meniscus), Roanne is denied a new element with his squad: Taj Gray. The U.S. domestic than 24 years (2.04 m) will be unavailable for three weeks because of an injury to his right shoulder resulting from a clash Tuesday night, in the face of Eurocoupe ASK Riga (winning 79-75). Gray will not be replaced in the choir, his unavailability below the 45 day minimum required by the National League.

Foot - C1 - Lyon - Lloris: "We have the charisma"

Unlike Claude Puel, Hugo Lloris did not go so far as to say that Lyon has no doubt his performance delivered the most successful of the season against Fiorentina (2-1) on Tuesday. The doorman of OL has simply pointed out the progress of his training in the Champions League. The Rhone club was already facing a mad mad mad match in the Romania against Steaua Bucharest (5-3), on 21 October. It has now demonstrated a new strength, helped, it is true, by the awkwardness of the attackers Italian club. "What happened in Bucharest has served as a lesson, he says. It was very strong, especially during the first quarter of an hour. Tonight, there has been exemplary in our game begins. "

The former Nice regrets half-word to Gilardino cashed at the very end of the first period (45th). "2-0 at half time, it would have been better, we realized the game a little more difficult in the second period." It also "damage that OL has not put away by inserting the purpose of 3-1, but emphasizes all the efforts made by his teammates. "Compared to that, we can congratulate everyone," he said, with special mention for its central hinge Cree-Boumsong. "She knew perfectly master the onslaught of a Fiorentina, who played the ball very well and has often tried to play in his back. It was not obvious, but it was ambitious from beginning to end. It did not take this goal could make us very badly. "

"The character and charisma to go far"
Matches like this, Lloris coming back. "There were bars, poles, guard stops, goals. All the ingredients for a great match. It is that Lyon is won. It proves we have the character and charisma to go far in this competition. " The French international has not wanted to comment on the chances of final victory of his team. Prior to speculate, he agreed to the first?''The group final against Bayern Munich on 10 December. The issue will be important, but not necessarily crucial. "Being able to receive the return match is an advantage, but when we're in this competition, we do not think we are there to play and win anywhere, he says. It will be a beautiful match during which he will have fun and give our supporters.

Nancy Orleans and dance lead at the top of the French Championship basketball with seven victories each after the 8th day marked by the large victory of taking the title from Gravelines, who won.

Nancy - Gravelines (100-76). The SLUC killed the suspense from the first-quarter time (26-11) against northerners came for first place in Lorraine. The French champions were speaking the richness of their workforce with six players between 12 and 18 points and six three-point markers for a remarkable total of 17 out of 30 long distance. Orleans - Dijon (88-78). The Orléanais began the match in imposing their opponent a terrible 16-0, confirmed gap at half time. The second period was much less convincing for the agreement, although led by Laurent Sciarra at ease with his previous club (10 points, 5 assists). The strong American winger Brian Greene did not go far triple double (13 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists).

Cholet - Le Mans (56-80). The Manceaux have put an end to a series of four backs (two in Proa, two in Euroleague) providing a big boost in the second quarter-time (26-8). The Brazilian MSB Joan Paolo Batista (20 points) took advantage of the absence of Claude Marquis to dominate inside. For Cholet, still blocked two victories, the horizon darkens.

Besançon - Rouen (91-85). Besançon has secured its place in the heart of the pack by controlling end of the duel promoted. The winger Justin Hawkins (38 points, including 7 in 3-point baskets) has passed the board of the evening.

Villeurbanne - Roanne (94-69). The ASVEL had no trouble winning the derby with a more balanced group (6 players over 10 points against 3 to the choir) and Laurent Foirest full success (19 points on 6 / 8). Roannais later, Taj Gray (28 points) was too isolated.

Le Havre - Strasbourg (73-83). The GIS, which is decidedly not like bases, won his fourth success of the season, third on the outside. No signs of thinning the side of Le Havre, beaten for the seventh time in a row and penultimate.

Webber successfully

Good news for Mark Webber. Following his injury Saturday (fractured leg), the Australian pilot was made. The Red Bull team confirmed that the operation was successful and that doctors had put a metal rod on his right leg. There still remain for some days in Tasmania before returning to Britain to begin his rehabilitation.

F. Lopez: "A miracle" Davis Cup

Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco were impressed by their own performance. Saturday, at double the Davis Cup final, the two Spaniards broke the Argentine pair David Nalbandian / Agustin Calleri in four sets and allowed Spain to lead 2-1.

Emilio Sanchez (team captain of Spain): "This is a victory that pick. It has experienced all sorts of emotions in the third set. First Argentines who were evil, then we lâchons that suddenly and finally a tie-break unbelievable. But the final is not played. Nothing is done. "

Feliciano Lopez (ESP, double winner): "It was almost a miracle that wins the tie-break (third set). It's a game I will never forget. It was a rare game in a incredible atmosphere. "

Fernando Verdasco (ESP, double winner): "I do not know if it was the biggest game of my career, but twice, no doubt. We played great tennis. We knew we could not let us not deal with them because they eat you right away. "

Perrin: "Lack of success"

Alain Perrin has become very frustrated after the defeat of Saint-Etienne Nice to meet Geoffroy-Guichard (0-1).

For his second match at the head of the Greens, Alain Perrin has again experienced defeat at the coming Nice Geoffroy-Guichard (0-1). Disappointed but not shot, the former Lyon coach trusts in better days. "In terms of opportunities, shots on goal, presence, it has seen a continuation of what we saw at the club, a lack of success. We feel great frustration of having done a good match and a good collective performance and obtaining a bad result. By flying and playing the kind of match after match, one can hope. I think you saw a team that was not resigned, who made her match, sought to play well, has provided opportunities on a difficult terrain, facing a team that dominated us in power. A force of repeat matches like this, we will be able to be rewarded, "he entrusted especially after the match.

Rugby: Coach XV de France blame the lack of play

Marc Lièvremont has more Saturday blamed the lack of intent to play France that the bankruptcy at the foot of David Skrela in the 18-13 defeat against Australia.

The XV of France did not record a test, penalty, a scrum down just before the break. She briefly took three point lead early in the second period (13-10), a drop of Maxime Medard after the only successful penalty from David Skrela on six attempts.

"We felt we could kill the match and failed to do so. There remains an enormous feeling of frustration," responded Marc Lièvremont, regretting "the three or four balls we got rid when leading. "

"For me, the black point is we did not build a good rugby. The players showed me the last three weeks they knew they play well and have not shown on this match there. This is the big failure is whether we have the potential to rival the best in the world and we did not tonight, "continued the French coach, visibly marked .

"It seemed to me that when we played, it has done so not too bad. I make the distinction between the balls we played too fast in the first half and we refused play in the second. "

THE BANKRUPTCY OF Skrela IS "ANECDOTES"

Marc Lièvremont nevertheless noted positive elements, such as "commitment and courage of this team and the good performance of its fray.

In his eyes, 18 points at the foot missed by Skrela, who also missed a drop, are "anecdotal".

"For me, it does not, it's part of the game, sometimes as a bad arbitration - and it was excellent today - bad bounces, and so on." Lièvremont said.

"Despite this, we had the weapons to win this match," he judged.

"David has made a rather good party despite its failure Thursday at the foot. We did not want to blame but rather to comfort and encourage."

Robbie Deans, the coach of New Zealand to Australia, for its part welcomed the effectiveness of its team, which scored two tests by Stephen Moore and Peter Hynes on two of its incursions ball in the hands 22 meters French.

"Today was very difficult, very hard," he said in a French approximate. "France has put a lot of pressure.

Arsenal: Gallas criticized and ostracized from the team

The defender William Gallas, who was attacked in England for criticizing his teammates, was left out of the Arsenal team for the championship match against Manchester City Saturday, a rejection that could convince merits of a return to France.

After a meeting with Wenger and his coaching team stretched according to witnesses, Gallas went home without board the bus which was driving the team towards the airport.

Gunners coach, Arsène Wenger is therefore went beyond the call to withdraw its Capitanata that have accumulated Friday in England. A fine should be imposed on the Blues defender. But it is now his future at the Gunners who is concerned As the winter transfer market.

The praise after the victory over Manchester United on November 8 (2-1), will therefore hardly lasted.

Gallas, 31 years old, was wrong to criticize his teammates, regretting their "inexperience" and felt that as captain he served as a "shield" and was "unjustly criticized."

The British were particularly shocked by the recent story of an altercation on October 29 at the half-time the match against Tottenham (4-4) with Dutchman Robin Van Persie does not cite it. A transgression of the sacrosanct "secret wardrobe" that its partners have not forgiven.

The day seems his autobiography, "Word to the defense" (in which he takes another young player, the French team this time), the press has been unleashed against what the Daily Telegraph calls "crotchety in the series. "Gallas is playing a leading role in the disqualification of Arsenal, slice the Evening Standard.

Groups of supporters are no longer wondering if the cuff should be withdrawn but must inherit the names of Kolo Toure (vice-captain but injured), Gael Clichy, Cesc Fabregas and Manuel Almunia being discussed.

Isolated before the new episode, Gallas will not benefit a great support in the locker room. This is not the first time that it takes its partners since becoming captain from Thierry Henry in the summer of 2007.

Last year, he publicly criticized Theo Walcott. In February 2008, he pointedly shunned on the lawn after a penalty conceded by Clichy allowing equalization of Birmingham at the end of the match.

His mood swings, like those kicks rageur in billboards, are deemed as signs of immaturity that motivation.

Gallas and physical punishment, recently photographed at the exit of a nightclub a cigarette in his mouth, is not protected by very average performance, as evidenced by its responsibility on the second goal of the Aston Villa week (2-1).

All this might reflect on the desirability of a return faster than expected in France. Only Marseille, Lyon, Paris-SG and perhaps Bordeaux seem to correspond to its status. The Parisian club leaders seem interested.

Frapolli satisfied

Olivier Frapolli, the coach of the U.S. Créteil was naturally pleased with the qualifications of his own at the expense of Metz at the 7th round of the French Cup on Friday evening (2-1).

In the outgoing 4th L2, Créteil, the current 13th National has achieved the first feat of the 7th round of the French Cup Friday evening (2-1). A performance which delighted Olivier Frapolli. "The Cup is to pass, and tonight (ie: Friday) we are all very happy! By leaving the game in Metz, the players have, too, perhaps, to comply with the data for the first half. Even if we were done, they did not panic, and have not delivered too. Returning to score, the group has confidence in him. In second period, the match was more balanced and we held with values of combativeness. Créteil is it a cut? I do not know. It prepares every game the same way, and I hope soon we can say that we are also a team championship, "dropped the coach of Lusitanos after the meeting.

France-Australia: forget last summer

Les Bleus left the Wallabies this evening, four months after two heavy defeats recorded this summer in Australia (34-13 and 40-10).
Marc Lièvremont and his players have every intention to take their revenge at the Stade de France.

They did not appreciate the remarks made at the time, especially by the Australian breeder at the end of the second test match of the tour: "I think Robbie Deans had smiled, as the French waited their holidays."
This condescension is still not passed: the 3rd row Fulgence Ouedraogo, for example, which was part of young players sent to fire this summer, remembers having felt "they had not respected us." The match tonight will be for him "a little revenge."
Same feeling for Louis Picamoles: "wearing the blue jersey, it represents France. We want to be respected, seen as a team, a true".

Marc Lièvremont feels that his team is ready for the challenge. The XV of France remains on two victories against the Argentine Pumas 15 days ago, and against a selection of the Pacific Islands last week (see our articles).
Faced with the Wallabies, the French coach expects a complicated game: the team led by Mortlock he is "very tight and difficult to maneuver."
