France-Uruguay: Laporte leave the podium in the event of whistles

Fearing that once again the Marseillaise is sifflée, Secretary of State for Sports Bernard Laporte threatened Tuesday November 18, to leave the podium if uncivil events occur during the friendly match France-Uruguay, which is played Wednesday at Stade de France. "Obviously, there is a gradation between three provocateurs who whistle in a forum and the situation of France-Tunisia", it noted, however, in the minister's entourage. "But if there is a comparable situation, he left the stage, make it.
On the eve of the match, Bernard Laporte installed with the Sports Minister Roselyne Bachelot, the committee responsible for improving Rocheteau citizenship in stadiums.

A difficult decision to apply

The controversy was born on October 14 last, after the friendly match against Tunisia at the Stade de France where the French anthem was amply whistled in the stands. The government had recommended the suspension of matches to incidents of this kind.
But if these events were actually repeated uncivil, the decision to interrupt or not to contest the match would be "complex", says on the Secretariat of State for Sports. "It would be a collective decision, sports authorities and public, but in such events is ultimately the Ministry of Interior is responsible for security" is also stressed.
